I’ve been working as a freelance makeup artist now for some 10 years and have moved to live in Bunbury in our beautiful South West.
I believe there are no rules when it comes to makeup in a world of constant change, I feel the goal should be to expand our definition of what we consider fashion.
Beauty can be appreciated in all it’s forms and it belongs to those with open minds and hearts.
Comparing oneself to others can only lead to frustration and it’s my hope to help people achieve a sense of self, by passing on my passion, excitement and sense of adventure that comes with the magic of makeup.
So next time you have a party, wedding, corporate function, show, launch etc…… think of the illusion of makeup and let my imagination create something special for your next great event.
Last weekend was great fun, I was invited to be a part of the Lord Forrest Friday night function, in the Grand Ballroom- Body painting two dancers from a local dance school using Carmen as my theme, everyone was very enthusiastic.

A NEW Art Festival in Bunbury called ARTwalK. Its aim is to bring community and public awareness to new and established artists in our local area. Art is appreciated by all so by putting a modern twist to the viewing of art other than it being viewed in a gallery, it may attract further interest for our artists.
The new modern ARTwalK show run as a catwalk show with models walking down the catwalk with the artists work.

“I like creating custom images and am particularly fond of the illusory quality of body painting, the decorative side as well as the odd or surreal side. The skills needed to execute these different qualities include dexterity, patience, speed and a particular visualising capacity. Having studied art and design, as well as make-up artistry, I have learned these skills plus a sense of humour and a free spirit, so vital in withstanding the pressures of the business and working with clients”.
